Thompson family visits

My sister-in-law Amy and her two kids, Finn and Virginia, came to stay with us for a couple of days. The kids had a blast playing together. Our girls are only a couple of months apart in age so its always fun to watch them together. The first day we drove to Leesburg to shop(if you call it that with 4 kids) and play at the playground. On Friday we went to Baltimore to check out the aquarium. That night the adults enjoyed an evening out after leaving the kids home with our babysitter. On Saturday afternoon we went to Fredericksburg to see Chris' brother Kevin and his family. All 12 of the Sandlin cousins were together. It was a great visit!

Easter

Mom and Jack both had the stomach virus this year on Easter. We were not able to make it to church or any egg hunts. I barely was able to throw their Easter baskets together much less take a picture! The night before Easter I was running for the bathroom every hour starting at midnight ending at noon the next day. I was then in bed for another 12 hours! Next year we'll have to make up for all we missed...

Trip to Beaufort

Chris and I headed to Beaufort the first week of April to house hunt and look at schools. We dropped the kids off in TN with Nana and headed down. It was wonderful to have a few days together without children. Our good friend Heather was a wonderful host to us! We met some great people, found a wonderful home and we're thrilled with the school that Jack and Caroline will be attending. Only two months to go until the move...
