BFF

Caroline found her first best friend while we have lived here. She and Branningan are too cute together. Branningan is one of those kids you truly enjoy having around. 9 Year old girls are the best, they are starting to explore the world of teenage interests but they still love to have their moms around! I have enjoyed taking these two out for dinner, to see movies and of course allowing many sleepovers. I have found myself hanging out with them, playing games and laughing. I realize my days are numbered with this, before I know it the bedroom door will be shut and I will not be welcomed like I am now...

We took the girls on river cruise down the Potomac river today with some other families from residency. The food and DC scenery were nice along with music and dancing which the girls enjoyed. Jack declined the invitation, he cannot miss a day of his prek program. The boy loves his school!

Jack's last day at CBS!

Jack and I have been going to bible study on Tuesday mornings together since we moved back from Japan just before he turned 2. We did BSF in Va Beach and when we got to DC we started going to CBS. His class sang today in chapel and I could not help but feel blue thinking he will not be with us next year. He will be getting on that bus every day with Caroline to go to Kindergarten. They grow up so fast!
