Jack turned 6 on Sept. 22 and we had a party at our neighborhood pool to celebrate. The club house catered the party with hot dogs and chicken fingers and I brought cup cakes. Seventeen of his neighbors and friends came and he had a great time. I was worried about his party since we just moved but Jack has made friends very quickly. It looked like Christmas around our house for days, he got so many nice presents. The weather had called for complete cloud cover and thunderstorms. We almost decided to cancel but the clouds cleared and the sun started shining. A great day for a great kid, I can't believe my precious baby boy is six years old! Happy birthday Jack!

First day of school...
Caroline started 4th grade and Jack started Kindergarten on August 17th. Jack was a little nervous because he did not think anything could compare to the preK program he attended last year. After a week, he could not stop talking about everything he was doing at school and about all of his new friends. He went from a 2hr and 30 min school day to a 6 hr and 30 min school day this year. Needless to say he is sleeping sound at night. Both kids seem to love their new school!

We were invited by the Frankmann family this summer to Emerald Isle. I was so excited to see April who I met while stationed in Okinawa. We became like family in Japan and I still miss them every day! Even though our kids had not seen each other in two years, it was like no time had passed.

Visit with the Brazleton Family!
This summer we stopped in Huntland, TN to see my cousin Marla and her family. They live on this amazing farm and my kids could not get enough! They played outside for two days riding 4 wheelers and having a blast with their cousin Holly. It was also nice to visit with my Aunt Kay and Uncle Jerry who live in Tullahoma!
