Caroline's 9th birthday

For Caroline's birthday, she wanted her first slumber party. She decided she wanted a theme to this party, that would be a scary sleepover. We decided to do a scavenger hunt(which I obsessed over), games, ghost stories, scary movies and of course pizza and birthday cake. She had 5 friends over and the night started with the scavenger which was a success much to my happiness. The girls had digital cameras and had to run around the house and neighborhood taking pics, they then had to find items using clues and riddles. I also hid parts of a puzzle all over the house and once they found it all they had to put it together. Chris had a mask on and scared them to death when they had to go into the basement. Last they had to make zombie's out of each other using toilet paper and make scary faces with a halloween makeup kit. Caroline got a guitar hero game for her birthday which was a big hit with the girls. I lit candles around 10pm and the girls all told ghost stories. Some of them really got into this and had their stories all typed out. Noone freaked out too bad, one little girl would not take a blanket off her head to listen but that is about it. The girls started a movie called Haunted Mansion around 1am and all but one kept going until 5am! I was exhausted on Saturday but it was totally worth it. Caroline had so much fun and was so happy, thats what its all about...
