Mommy's baby, Claire's baby. Claire has been nursing her dolls, they all have diapers on, she follows me around with her baby and lays her next to Brady in the basket. How cute is that!

My sweet little man was born Friday morning. We went to the hospital around 11, my contractions were probably 6-7 minutes apart. I got my epidural around 2am after

handling some pretty intense contractions. My water did not break for the first time so

they did that after the epidural. After that, things were nice and calm, I even slept for awhile. I woke up to some pressure and it was time to get things started. After about three rounds of pushing, he made his debut into this world! My hospital stay was wonderful, great nurses, alot of rest and bonding with Brady. I stayed two nights and went home Sunday afternoon.

Caroline goes 50's

Caroline was invited to a 50's murder mystery birthday party this past weekend. Her role was a cheerleader in poodle skirt attire. A friend of mine actually had an authentic skirt her mom wore as a little girl and was kind enough to let us borrow it. I thought she looked adorable and I think she knew it too, ha. We had a busy weekend with her 3rd piano recital as well as a mother/daughter tea with the GA's at our church.

Jack is playing basketball at the YMCA, we watch his games on Saturday mornings. It was priceless last Saturday to see the excitement on his face when he made a basket, I loved the way he looked over to make sure I saw it.

Valentine's Day and Birthday

Happy Valentine's Day and my birthday! This year, Chris hired a sitter the Saturday before and we spent the day downtown shopping, eating lunch and ending with a great movie. It was perfect. For Valentine's Day, Chris and the kids made dinner for me at home which was very nice. I took no part in this especially in the clean up which was awesome.

Claire really got into making her valentine cards for preschool. She put stickers on all the cards, signed her name and carefully placed the pencil(Toy Story theme of course). She

is currently going through a polka dot obsession and wants to wear them daily!

The older two worked diligently on their valentine cards and boxes as well.

Chris made my absolutely favorite meal, Steak Au Poivre. It's a filet seared in butter, broiled and served with a green peppercorn cream sauce and cognac reduction-YUM. This is from one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Beaufort, Emily's. It was dead on and delicious! Check out the fancy paper towel place setting that Jack did when he set the table.

The kids were responsible for dessert, cupcakes with pink icing and ice cream! They

were very proud!

Virginia weekend

We decided to take a last minute trip before baby #4 makes his debut! We drove up to Virginia and Chris took the kids tubing/skiing at Wintergreen. We also got to visit family who live nearby. Thanks Jay and Amy for a great visit! It was such a great weekend.
Waiting to tube, Claire and I went just to watch and take pictures. Claire was promised ski school next winter when we take our next trip!

Chris and Caroline went tubing one day and skiied the next while Jack chose to tube two days in a row. The second day he went with his cousin Finn.

Caroline is big enough to use my skis, boots, pants, poles and jacket! Crazy how big she is getting!

Claire and Virginia had not seen each other in over a year!

January

Basketball season is upon us, Caroline is having a blast playing on the Riverview team this year. Go Stingrays!

We are having the best time going to the games. I love to watch basketball, I'm hopeful that atleast one of my kids will play in high school.

Extreme Home Makeover made a stop in Beaufort.

We had to check it out, pretty cool. I can't wait to watch the episode in March.
